Broga Hill

Finally, we managed to climb broga hill after our failed attempt on June 2010 due to heavy rain.

And I was like checking the weather forecast for one week before the climb this time to make sure.. and make sure… it’s not a  rainy day on 1st August. kns.. and the weather forecast was good until the last 2 days as it showed heavy rain from 5 am to 11 am. Still doesn’t want to gave up, I chose to trust God rather than the weather forecast.

And, indeed God is great… It rained the whole Saturday in PJ and my friend message me  at night, said “Raining ohhhh..” and I replied “how?” and she returned my message ”wait till Sunday morning” and yes.. Sunday morning came.. Clear sky, no rain.. The power of prayer I believed..

We reached Semenyih about 5:30 am in the morning, and started our climb soon after we parked our car. And, to my surprised, there were a lot of people ahead of us already.

  

Broga Hills looked nothing like a jungle except a walking path with a lot of lalang (weed)..It was much easier to climb walk compare with the other hill that I climbed before as, it does not need a lot of climbing and nothing much challenge until we reached the top.

And.. and. realise my new hair..?  ya.. I did relaxer and colouring but, the result was a bit dissapointed as I had my hair all damaged due to extreme dryness… and, I had to apply a lot of oil and conduct treatment to restore it again.. sweat..

Back to Broga Hill, did enjoyed ourselves very much but, we vows to come back again for the sunrise view. (we were not able to see on that day due to the rain on Saturday)

And, Miko’s mom ask us to bring along salted egg..

ya.. the view of sunrise… huahahaha..

“This month is not a good month to climb hill” “It’s a rainy month” My friend keep telling me..

Last Sunday, I woke up early, (what I mean early is 3:30 in the morning) with the intention to climb broga hill with my dear friends. And, true enough, I paid the price for being stubborn. IT REALLY RAINED!! But, I really wanna climb that hills that everyone talking about mah… =_________=” 

BROGA HILL.. I WILL BE BACK!!

Left us with no choice, we decided to head to Cheras to have our DimSum Breakfast. We then threw in some suggestions on the alternative plan and end up our way to Ampang, Look Out Point.

And, good enough, the rain stopped after we had our breakfast..

We then headed to waterfall, and itelyou.. I fell in love with the place. It was so nice, cooling, and a good place closed to nature. The entrance to the waterfall is RM1 per person, and it’s quite cheap for the maintenance of the place.

But, too bad we were in our long pants and sport shoes. Hence, we can’t went into the water. The only things I could do was these.

We spend our time there, took photo, blended ourselves to the nature, and then headed to our next stop, dam nearly the waterfall. <3 it.

Anyway, really a nice day.. A good weekend short trip. And, still BROGA HILL, we will be back.. And, friends, I will let you know 3 days in advance. Need to see the weather forecast first..wth..

and, I was thinking of buying headlight and a pink colour rain coat..

Cycling @ Botanical Garden

Botanical Garden or better known as Taman Pertanian is located at Shah Alam, Selangor and it is open to public everyday. The entrance fees to the garden is only RM 3 for young people like me and RM 1 for small kids and senior citizen. Kinda cheap for a place of relaxation. And, if you feel sick of the city life, you can even rent a chalet there for only RM50 per night. (Based on the info from the pakcik bicycle). And, there do have swimming pool inside.

For RM 5/hour you can rent their best bike. And, if you are kiam siap and wanna save RM2, you can go for their old junk for RM3. Don’t blame the pakcik bicycle if your “transportation” break down half way or your butt feel intense pain after cycling. lol.. Joking. In fact the old junk still can be used. The different is it is an old junk. That’s all.

I went there again together with my family yesterday. And, as usual was having my greatest time there. I sweated.. whew.. and I was glad as I could lose the extra kilos as well. :P

Well, we didn’t cycle the whole garden yesterday. Just covered some part of it as it was too late already. It was advisable to go in the morning when the sun is still friendly.
