For those who had watched Pixer Up movie, I am sure that you had seen how the 78 years old Carl Fredricksen spend his life together with his wife. Knew each other since young,  fell in love, got married, spend time together, dreamed dreams together, planned things together, planned to have children (but not able to have) ,  got old together until the wife died. And, how he spend time alone without his wife at the old age and how dearly he missed his wife. ALL ALONE!!  My eye got wet when I saw the scene. Am I being emo here?

In fact, it was not the old man and the cute fat scout, Russell, hilarious adventure that caught my attention. It was not the flying house with thousands of colourful baloons that headed to South America either. I was touched at how the 78 years old trying hard to save all his late wife photos and items when the flying house hit with storm. It was the determination of the old man to fulfill his late wife dream to have a house beside Paradise Fall.

I just can’t be bothered on how they rescued the colourful bird who craze for chocolate. And, how they got away with the not so cute talking dog. “But it is a talking dog!!”~  And escaped from Fredricksen childhood hero, Charles Muntz who was trying to harm them when they tried to protect the bird.

I was again moved with the scene that Fredricksen finally managed to park his house next to the Paradise Fall. And, when he finally rested himself on the chair he used to sit side by side with his wife, looked at the adventure book that was made by his wife. Page by page he turned the adventure book and came across those photos he took together with his wife.. emo.. emo.. emo..

Sooo sooo EMO until the guy sitting beside me at the cinema turned to me and said “TERTIDUR” (sleep)~ And he was Hubby Panda… Cheh.. Not romantic.

Clumsypanda Slept in the Cinema

OK.. So what? I was sleep deprived!!! That s the reason I slept the whole day today. I woke up in the morning, had my breakfast and continue to sleep again till noon. Then, had my lunch and continue to lie on my bed till evening.

I was supposed to have family outing at Desa Waterpark this morning. But.. but.. I was not able to wake up on time. So, I didn’t go. Sigh!! Miss the fun.

Yesterday, Hubby Panda suggested to watch James Bond- Quantum of Solace at Cineleisure. And, hey!! You know what? I found Daniel Craig quite attractive and cool.. Really!! Not handsome but,…I just like him. Blah!!

But, I tell you.. midway through the movie, my eye all of the sudden started to shut down.. I tried soooo hard to keep it open but, failed. So, I slept through the movie and only woke up when the show going to end. Wasted!! So, I walked out from the cinema and told Hubby Panda I don’t understand the movie. Hubby Panda respond was “Of course lah!! How to understand when you sleep”.. LOL..

Went to One Utama GSC to watch movie with Hubby Panda yesterday.

We went there in the morning but, was taken aback by the queue at GSC. WTH!! The crowd was sooooo huge and we found out that they were having problem with the shutter to the ticket counter (Not able to pull up the shutter). So, they decided to set up ONE (1) counter in front of the shutter with HUNDREDS of people queing up. Oh Mind..

So, Hubby Panda decided to give a try at TGV. I was like “Oh No.. Not that TGV AGAIN!!!” I will be suffering from buttock pain. Anyway, glad to say that the showing time does not suit our convenience time so, we headed home.. Wheew… Sigh of relieved. If not, I will be suffering inside for 2 1/2 hours AGAIN!! Ha ha

We went back home with Hubby Panda still trying to book for the movie ticket while I slept the whole afternoon. (I was sleep deprived!! lol..)  About 7:30 p.m. Hubby Panda woke me up and told me to prepare myself as he wanted to bring me to One Utama again for the 9:30 p.m. movie. He haven’t gave up by then.

Well, not that he had successfully booked the ticket. He just kept his finger crossed so that there will be uncollected reservation ticket which they normally released 1/2 and hour before the movie. Yeah.. Being a good planner as he is, we reached GSC (They finally got the shutter opened by then) at 8:45 p.m. after queing up for 15 minutes (sharp 9 p.m. where they had released the ticket), we managed to get 2 very very nice viewing seat from the uncollected ticket. Thank God… And with the comfort seat and my leg high up on my seat and I could turned right and left into sleeping position, I Enjoy the movie..

Overall, the movie was good. But, the show time was too long. :)

I went to One Utama TGV to watch movie today - Red Cliff with colleagues and ex-colleagues.

Well, I promise myself that I will try my best not to step in that cinema again in the future (unless I really have no choice) as:-

1) The limitation of my movement space- I use to put my leg high on my seat whenever I watch movie. But, TGV seat was too small for me to put my leg and the worst was when I put my leg on the floor, it touched the front seat. (Maybe my leg is too long :P )

2) My buttock was in pain and I started to get very impatient mid way through the movie.

3) When someone on the same row laugh, my seat was “vibrating” as well. :P

Boooo… even the ticket price was “lower than the neighbour” :)

Anyway, the movie was “so so” only. I almost fall asleep when the movie started but, was alert soon after they started to fight. But, somehow rather I felt Takeshi Kaneshiro and Lin Zhi Ling shouldn’t should’t be inside the movie. Sigh!! Kinda dissapointed with the way they act. I think they should go back to acting school and start from ABC again.

Well, another dissapointment of the movie was we were caught by surprised when at the end on the movie, the sentence “to be continued” appeared on the screen. Sigh!!!

Before the movie

Miko fetched me to One Utama soon after we clock out from office at 1:00 p.m. We reached One Utama at 2:00 p.m. While waiting for the guys to come, we decided to head to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng to have our lunch as we were hungry. As I was looking at the menu, I wondered why they don’t served any pure vegetarian food except french fries. Majority all of their food came with meat. Sigh!!

So, I had no choice but to order fried rice and I had to pick up all those meat and prawn out of my rice and put it aside while I eat. Sigh!! And my plate look so messy while I eat. (Sorry.. no picture of the plate here or else ppl might judged me as someone not organize. ha ha)

Ok.. the fried rice was quite nice la. My compliment. And, the coffee taste good too.

After the movie, we decided to have dinner at KFC where at least I could ordered cheesy wedges with extra extra cheese and extra extra mayonaise.. Hooh.. I felt so pampered.

We headed home after that.

Other unrelated story

Went to Starbucks coffee chain nearby my office yesterday for “yam cha” session and ordered Ice Blended Caramel cream base. I told the girl that I wanted my ice blended to have extra extra cream on top, and she gave me this (see below).

I even told her I don’t mind if she gave me the whole bottle of cream. LOL..
