i come. i see. i conquered. it was fun. ah tan, miko and me conquered KL last Sunday. It was a planned one day trip that turned out so well.
We started out journey by having dimsum at Damansara Jaya Hong Kee Tim Sum. It was a good Dim Sum place and was quite packed.
Then, with Miko as driver, and me and Tan relaxing with Wilber Pan singing Be with You (yes. we repeated the song througout the journey) we headed to our first destination.
A nescafe to kick start my day..
1) National Monument
The first time I stepped my foot at this place was when I was 12 years old during my school trip. glad that it is still well maintain.
2. Next ASEAN Sculpture Garden (located next to the National Monument)
A place just to see see, look look.. It is located in the vicinity and is a collection of sculptures that were made from bamboo, iron, marble and wood. These sculptures were crafted by members of the ASEAN countries.
2)Planetarium Negara
And I realised my knowledge towards outer space was so damn low. wth. Alien! I am not interested in you. blah..
But not Ah Tan.
He was more interested in alien than human..
And me, posting like “sua gu” auntie
4 ) Memorial Tun Abdul Razak
Nothing much to see here except for the history of Tun Abdul Razak in a museum like. So we decided to jump and take photo instead =_=
4) Museum Police
too bad. we arent suppose to take photo inside the museum.
5. Lake Garden
nice garden.
we were tired. thirsty. and hot. so we decided to let out pity stomach to be filled with something. and since i was so sua gu and never take Korean Food before, we headed to Ampang Korean Village to let me had a feel of it.
6) Da Chang Jin (Korean Restaurant)
we were quenching our thirst with the plain ice water that the restaurant first served us. and we ,with our thick skin, ask for more. as we were really really thirsty. and so kind of the waiter, he gave us whole jug. lol.
and, itelyou, wth the ice doing inside my mee. see..
first bite. was ok. 2nd bite, i started to feel funny. 3rd bite. Sorry. I hate to waste my food but i had to waste. (But, thanks Miko for eating it all for me and allowing me to have her KimChi) . it was a cold mee and my imagination ran wild while taking this mee. – ” cook the mee. froze it inside the chiller. Defroze it when want to eat.. and defroze it half way and eat it” iiaksss to the max.
the food that we ordered and all the side dishes. and with me showing the face “I DON’T LIKE COLD MEE”!!!
Miko was like blowing the “cold mee” to cold while eating..
we rested there before continued out journey and i was like obsessed with Facebook and was like updating every seconds on all the places that we went. wth..
7) KL tower.
so expensive to go up the top. rm38 per pax and we just aborted our planned. and just walk around instead. saw a few boring horses and was contemplated to sit on the horse but, aborted the plan either. look at my weight, pity the horse. maybe. lol.
8 ) St John Church.
It was quite a unique and tradisional Church with good design. Noted that I used “good design” instead of “great design”? it was because i still love the great design of churches at Rome.
9) Then, we just walked over to the telecom museum that was located just beside St John Church.
Nothing much to see. when we walked in we had only left 10 minutes to see see look look as the caretaker there told us they were about to close.
just like market auntie gossiping on the phone.. lol..

Ah Tan.. climbing on top of the fence and i was so worried. how if we kena caught because of vandalism. wth!! and the fact was when he came down, a police car passed by. phew!! lucky. Ah Tan, if you ever do that again, we are going to say we don’t know you if you kena tangkap. (get caught)
11) Batu Cave
years.. I had said I wanted to climb the cave. At at last I did it.
proved. Bukti yang Kukuh. I had climb it. And, it was easy. Not as what I expected.
We were sweating like shit..
12) And finally, happily headed to Happy Four Season Restaurant at Setapak..
and, what can you expect. 3 of us. sweated like shit. tired and hungry. of course we opt for winter area at the restaurant.
cool..
My own opinion of the food was it was nice to see but, not up to my expectation. Patrons were merely paid for the nice enviroment they had.
But, they do served a very nice drinks..

and, itellyou, it was freaking cold inside the winter area that we were shivering while eating our food.
I could see some customers jumping up and down inside the restaurant.. lol..
But, they do provide jacket if the customer fell cold.
Well, we headed back home after that. Feeling satisfied. Feeling happy. And was planning for another one soon. And then, I was suggesting to Miko, should we conqured every corner of the city area?… and yeah.. looking forward..
