For those who had watched Pixer Up movie, I am sure that you had seen how the 78 years old Carl Fredricksen spend his life together with his wife. Knew each other since young,  fell in love, got married, spend time together, dreamed dreams together, planned things together, planned to have children (but not able to have) ,  got old together until the wife died. And, how he spend time alone without his wife at the old age and how dearly he missed his wife. ALL ALONE!!  My eye got wet when I saw the scene. Am I being emo here?

In fact, it was not the old man and the cute fat scout, Russell, hilarious adventure that caught my attention. It was not the flying house with thousands of colourful baloons that headed to South America either. I was touched at how the 78 years old trying hard to save all his late wife photos and items when the flying house hit with storm. It was the determination of the old man to fulfill his late wife dream to have a house beside Paradise Fall.

I just can’t be bothered on how they rescued the colourful bird who craze for chocolate. And, how they got away with the not so cute talking dog. “But it is a talking dog!!”~  And escaped from Fredricksen childhood hero, Charles Muntz who was trying to harm them when they tried to protect the bird.

I was again moved with the scene that Fredricksen finally managed to park his house next to the Paradise Fall. And, when he finally rested himself on the chair he used to sit side by side with his wife, looked at the adventure book that was made by his wife. Page by page he turned the adventure book and came across those photos he took together with his wife.. emo.. emo.. emo..

Sooo sooo EMO until the guy sitting beside me at the cinema turned to me and said “TERTIDUR” (sleep)~ And he was Hubby Panda… Cheh.. Not romantic.
