While teaching my primary school class, I asked a boy called David, “If you have four rabbits and I give you two more, how many will you have?”
“Seven, Miss,” he replied.
“No, David. You have four rabbits, I give you another two… how many do you have?”
“Seven, Miss,” he responded. “I already have Thumper at home.”
