Goodbye 2008 Hello 2009!!

I SURVIVED!!

There were ups and downs for clumsypanda in the year 2008. And the worst was I was hit with depression in the begining of the year. Low state of mind. anger, stress, fear, hopeless.. sense of betrayal uproared me. I wanna run, wanna escaped.. BUT, FINALLY, I FOUND HOPE IN GOD!!! I GAINED STRENGTH IN GOD!!! Though I still need to conduct little tuning here and there to shed of the unhappy things in me.

In GOD, I learned to:

1) Take off my old clothes (forgetting the past)

2) Renew my mind

3) Put on my new clothes (moving ahead with my new self)

Well, of course there were many happy things happened this year too. Was blessed.. was loved.. was cared.. learned that all things happened with a purpose. Knowing that I gained more than I lost.

Tomorrow will be a new beginning for Clumsypanda! I welcome 2009 .. feeling excited.. as I wanna start well and end well.

My new year resolution:

1) Get closer to God

2) To focus in my career

3) To be happy and treat others just like how I want to be treated

4) To join more public functions

5) Improve my Mandarin and Cantonese speaking

6) To lose weight.. maybe another 10 kg.. as I had lost 10 kg this year

7) Improve knowledge of KL/PJ Road.. so that I can go anywhere I like without worrying getting lost

Another 2 minutes towards 12:00 am, 1st January 2009.

It was Marcus Birthday today (29th December 2008).

Everyone!! Say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Marcus!!

Ivy, Ivy’s sister, clumsypanda and of course the birthday boy had his birthday celebration at Tony Roma’s, The Garden Mid Valley. I reached Mid Valley early around 10:45 am (the lunch was 12:30 pm) as I was afraid I might get lost in between. Sigh!!! Living here in PJ for close to 9 years and yet doesn’t know how to go to mid valley is … shame.. What do you expect when my car only transport me to and fro from office. Majority of the time, Hubby Panda is my driver.

Therefore, I added one New Year Resolution to my list.. That is to drive around the town and get familiar with all the road and places by end of next year.

OK.. come back to Marcus’s Birthday..

Overall, my sincere comment of the food was.. so so only. Nothing special.. The taste was not to my expectation.. Kinda dissapointed..

Anyway, Tony Roma’s do had a surprised for the birthday boy.. where, the staff there sang a birthday song to the Birthday boy and requested him to blow the candle.. by using a Straw.. Yes.. a straw.. and she was standing quite far away. I still cant figure out how he could blowed off the candle until now..

The cake.. hmm.. not presentable enough

See.. ?!!!! Question Mark!! The girl was about 1 metre away from him..

It’s TIME of the YEAR AGAIN!! Merry Christmas!!

Clumsypanda 1st DAY away from work today!! Woke up in the morning.. and wondering where is everyone.. HOME ALONE!!! I realised I can’t really sit still at home. Started to miss office… Call me CRAZY!!!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!

Usually, I had my Christmas shopping LAST MINUTES!!! which normally drove my adrenalin level up high and cracked my head thinking what to buy for everyone.. It was stressful but, ENJOYING as I spend like nobody business and normally carries amples of shopping bag.. And.. and.. I went to shop very very often. The christmas deco in the shopping centre was fantastic, the christmas song so peaceful and the christmas carols was great!! (Nothing like my young days’s carol )

As usual, my family had a gathering, this year at Auntie Juliet, Kota Kemuning where we had our dinner there. I like the decoration of the restaurant, comfortable, home based style.

After dinner, we headed to brother’s house at Klang where we had our photo taking and present “opening” there.

I realised I had a habit of taking photo of people especially myself.. so, I decided to try taking photo of objects this time.. See..

But, but.. after few attempts, I realised I still prefer to take photo of Human Being..

22 December 2008- Clumsypanda just came back from watching movie “THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL” staring Keanu Reeves.. Everything was fantastic about the movie except I had a goose bump when Keanu Reeves started to talk in Mandarin..Oh Mind!! Why in this movie?!! Spoilt his”coolness”!!! Anyway, overall, I still like this movie.

As you know, I simply like Keanu Reeves.. Smart, cool, handsome.. I started to follow his movie ever since my late ex colleague sent me all the way from Batu Pahat his 2003 movie- SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE where Keanu Reeves acted as a doctor.. But, I am still looking for one his 2001 Movie- SWEET NOVEMBER where I was told a very very good movie. Where can I buy?

14th December 2008- Clumsypanda went to Wendy’s Wedding Dinner at Oversea’s Restaurant, Armada Hotel. Wendy is one of my colleagues. She has been with this company for many many years.. (Can’t remember how many years) But, what I know is, she was in the company already from the 1st day I joined. Can I consider we grow old up together.. as I worked here for close to 5 years already..

It’s so BORING .. I know that I frequent post about my new hair cut lah.. hair style lah.. hair dye lah… BUT…BUT.. BUT… WHO CARES… I am going to POST IT AGAIN HERE..It’s my blog.. So?

I went for a hair dye cum hair cut again last Saturday. As usual, at Hair Exchange, Taman Connought Cheras. I simply like my hair hairstylist there- Tony.. He is good.. At least for me lah..
